Today I started early as I had a booking in Richmond at 9:30, there was no chance of a little rest as I had to take my daughter to school as she is on crutches (don’t ask)!

Got her to school and headed straight to Richmond which is about 15 minutes drive away from her school. After finding the house which was just on the green I parked up and as I had some time to spare I went and got a coffee.

Got to the first appointment 8:55, her house was a big Victorian house with a living room overlooking the green which most be worth millions! She was a really nice lady how is in her late 60’s but looks really good for her age, she loved the treatment and has booked me in for her infill’s in 3 weeks time, she gave a nice tip too.

On to Battersea for 12:30, again I am a little early so I decide to go to MacDonald’s for a bite to eat (yeah yeah I no). Got to the ladies house really close to Clapham Common and once again I was going to be working in a big expensive house, but I didn’t let on how much I thought of it as I didn’t like her attitude.
The lady was around 30 and had clearly either been very successful or very lucky in life but she was rude from the word go telling me she ‘now didn’t have time for the appointment as she had something to do’, charming I thought and I was about to get on my way when she asked for her deposit back! ‘Deposit back’ I said ‘you don’t get anything back, that goes to me for you wasting my time’ and with that I left.

I went for a look in the shops as I now had a long while to kill whilst I waited to do the last booking of the day, a young girl’s party. I got to the party 15 minutes earlier than I should have been (you should always get to such events early as they have the tendency to be a bit volatile!

On this last job I was working with another eyelash technician from London as we had a big booking of 12 girls going to London in a Limousine. On top of having the other technician with us I also brought along one of my other friends to help with sorting out stuff that makes the whole process of applying eyelash extensions on 12 girls allot more easy!

Finished the day at 23:00, well we finished at 10:30 when the girls got into the limo, we were still adding finishing touches to girls extensions up the garden path and into the limousine, I stayed to have a cup of coffee with the girls mother after and then drove home, luckily the last booking was in Esher so I didn’t have far to go.

If you have had eyelash extensions before and they didnt last very long I suggest you read this.

It more than likely wasnt the eyelash technicians fault that your eyelash extensions fell out well before you were told they would, the eyelash technician probably did a really good job.

Like anything YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM and do everything the eyelash technician tells you to as they know best and they are the experts!

You will probably be told that your eyelash extensions will last for either 2-3 weeks or for the same time as your natural eyelashes as they are attached and should fall out in their natural life cycle, here is my advice on keeping them maintained.

1: As you have eyelash extensions there is no need to wear mascara, so dont!

2: Purchase some eye make up remover from you eyelash technician, she will have some and its designed to not harm your eyelash extensions.

3: DONT PULL AT THEM!! I cannot stress enough this one, I have seen people pulling their extensions five minutes after having them applied, why?

That is my quick guide to looking after you eyelash extensions, if you follow these rules your eyelash extensions will last that much longer!

Hi There

Today I wanted to tell you what a wonderful job our eyelash technicians are doing as we have only started the business recently but it is going really really well.

When I started the company and started to recieve enquiries for eyelash extensions if my partner was not close enough to do the booking herself I had to find an eyelash technician that could. After giving out a few bookings to technicians and having talks with them about what my plans were for the company I got a very welcome response.

Eyelash technicians told me that it was fairly difficult to find new clients if you didnt work in a salon as the types of advertising they were trying didnt seem to be working. They told me how they used to advertise using directories on the internet and by local newpapers and adverts in newsagents and such.

They told me that they would be greatful for any business I could put their way and would be glad to give me a reduction so I could make some money on top of every booking.

So far we have made a vast number of bookings in a very short amount of time and things are going very well, I hope to continue with this good fortune and hope to continue to aquire new fake eyelash technicians from all over the country.

There are many different type of eyelash extensions an eyelash technician can apply to your eyelashes depending on what look are are actually going for. If you have had eyelash extensions before then you should be aware of what look or fake eyelashes you want but even so you may not know what eyelash extensions are on offer.

The different types of eyelash extensions are as follows, you can have sizes ranging from 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm all the way up to 16mm and I am sure for really exagerated lashes you can find bigger sizes than the ones mentioned. There are different curls from J curl, C curl and so on and they also come in different thicknesses as to add more volume.

If you havent had eyelash extensions before you should always have a talk with the techician before any treatment is started so you can discuss what might be best for your personal preference and to talk about any allergies you may have so you dont run into any problems with the treatment, after all the eyes are a very delicate piece of the body and lots can go wrong.

Always listen to advice the techician gives you as they are the expert and know best, they will only be telling you something with you best interested at heart so dont think otherwise.

The other day we came across a customer that not only taught us a lesson but also made us want to inform eyelash technicians in case they come across the same sort of thing.

Now fake eyelashes are only a booking service, although we may have technicians working very closely with us as a company we are only the booking service.

One of our technicians went out on a job the other day in Essex to do a full set of eyelashes on a client, the client is a trained hair extension technician so by all rights should no what to do and not to do when getting the treatment done.

We always tell the client to listen to the technician and to do what she says at all times as they are the professional and not the other way round. Now this client had a serve case of cross over lashes, for anyone that doesn’t no what they are I shall tell you quickly, they are eyelashes that instead of going out straight as many of ours do they overlapped.

Usually I would advise a technician that if they came across a situation like this to not do the treatment if they didn’t feel comfortable with the way the eyelashes looked. The technician explained the situation with the eyelashes but the client was adamant that they wanted to continue with the treatment.

Towards the end of the treatment the client started to say how she was not happy because she could feel her eyelashes were going in different angles (no shit) and proceeded to pull at the eyelashes. The technician told her not to do this as she was going to ruin the treatment but she was undeterred and continued. All this coming from a hair extension technician where the basics are the same seemed rather strange to me but oh well.

The lady ended up not paying for the treatment and really upset our eyelash technician but what have we learnt from this? ALWAYS TAKE MONEY UP FRONT!!

Eyelash Extensions or Fake eyelashes are the newest rend to hit the world in the last few years spreading front Japan (as all things do), across the Pacific to America and lastly (like usual) they arrive in the UK.

The eyelash fad started off a while ago with complete sets of false eyelashes being attached to the eyelashes, they would come in many different variations of styles. The way they were applied to the eyelashes wasn't the most sophisticated of applications and were said to last for 24 hours, more often than not ladies would leave nightspots with only one still attached, if you were lucky.

Like any other beauty enhancer, fake eyelashes have evolved into a much better product that lasts the same time as the natural lifespan of your eyelashes and look great! The new false eyelashes are actually eyelash extensions which are applied individually to the eyelashes until the look you wish for is achieved.

This method was manufactured in Japan as they were the original pioneers of eyelash extensions to enhance ladies eyes and Japan could only ever be the place where the old style was re-mastered.

Women can now opt for different looks and styles based on personal preference rather than have to have a style that everyone else has got. Depending on what look you are going for you can have 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm lengths of eyelash extensions along with different colours and different curls depending on what look you are after.

The false eyelashes are now attached to each eyelash with a non-solvent adhesive designed not to irritate the eyes as we all know the eyes are a very delicate area and having glue anywhere near them can be a dangerous thing to do.

Eyelash extensions are now available in beauty salons and through mobile eyelash technicians but they are not yet available everywhere due to it being a fairly new trend. Eyelash technicians can charge anywhere from £50-£200 but like everything you really do get what you pay for.

We have found that salons, due to increasing overheads, charge much more than a mobile eyelash technician would and depending on what brand of fake eyelashes the technician is trained in applying will determine what they charge for the treatments, as some brands use more natural looking products than others.

If you have never had false eyelashes before it is always best to consult with the technician beforehand in case of any allergies you may have and the technician will be able to inform you of anything you may need to be made aware of before the treatment is carried out.
